ABOUT ME

I earned my Master’s in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver in 2021. Prior to pursuing graduate level education, I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology, with minors in Crime & Delinquency and Political Science from Emporia State University in 2019.

I have had the opportunity to work in various areas of the psychology and mental health field and am so grateful for the way that these experiences have shaped my current therapy practice. I worked as a domestic violence treatment provider with court-involved clients, in the non-profit community mental health space with an organization called “To Write Love on Her Arms,” and have worked in death investigations with the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner. In addition to my work experience, I have published an article discussing the ethical considerations for telehealth therapy in the Psychotherapy Bulletin, with the Society for the Advancement of Psychotherapy. I truly believe in the importance of continued learning, and consider myself to be a “student” for life.

Being open-minded, curious, and compassionate toward people of all backgrounds is central to my practice as a therapist. I am passionate about social justice and advocacy and believe it’s important to consider how systems in our society are impacting us. I know how difficult it can be to be vulnerable with your thoughts and feelings, and entering therapy is no easy task.

My goal with Baseline Counseling is to provide a safe space where you can explore your feelings, gain skills to navigate life and relationships with confidence, and reflect on your past, present, and future. A space that is driven by your own goals and values.
